Fort Bragg resident Robert Hamilton Rabourn III died on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2001 in Santa Rosa. A native of San Jose, Calif., he was 52 years old.
Family members said that his door was always open to everyone at all times and that he loved helping people and working on cars.
He is survived by his mother, Agnes Middleton of Fort Bragg; children, Brandy Lopez and her husband Lance of Salinas, Calif., Bobbie Ann Rabourn of Alabama, Robert Rabourn IV and his wife Laura of San Jose, and Marshall Rabourn; sisters, Patricia Frey of Fort Bragg, Roberta Westfall of Willits; brother, Lloyd Middleton of Fort Bragg; and step-sister, JoAnn Rabourn. He is also survived by his dear and best friend, Chris Maki, of Fort Bragg; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fort Bragg. A private inurnment will be held.

Arrangements were under the care of the Daniels Chapel of the Roses Funeral Home and Crematory, Santa Rosa.
