21 June 1900 census of Dickson, Benton county, AR, found the Hankley family living in dwelling #170. Laura, a widow, said that 7 of her 8 children were still living:

5/3/1910 census of Wallace, Benton County, AR, found the Hamilton family living in dwelling #233. George and Sally said that they had been married 7 years (this was his first marriage, her second). Sally said that 7 of her 8 children were still living. Also in the household was Sally's three sons from her former marriage, all of whom were still single:

In his WWI Draft Registration Card dated 22 April 1918, "Vernon S. Hankla" said that he was born 9 April 1884. He was married, self employed as a farmer, and living in Row, Delaware County, OK.
10 Jan 1920 census of Township 2 (Maseley), Delaware County, OK, found the Hankley family living in dwelling #44. Next door in dwelling #43 was mother Sally Hamilton and family:
