Member of Sandusky Avenue Christian Church:She had Reumatic fever when a child:First Open heart surgery-Jan.27,1993 for a heart valve replacement, St. Francis hosp. Tulsa, Ok. Had second Heart Valve Replacement July 14, 1999, Died on July 28, 1999 from complications. Death certif. says she died from Rhuematic Fever. Her heart Doctor left town for New York City the day after surgery for his daughters wedding and returned to Tulsa the day before Margie Died.

I (Harold J. Maddox) Asked Margie Marie (Harvey) Brown to marry me May 28, 1978. She turned me down. SWBT co. transferred me to Tulsa, Okla as an Engineer June 15, 1978. (Married to Margie Marie (Harvey) Brown, June 30, 1978 in Tulsa, Okla.) I was visiting Margies parents in Prattville, Okla. When she showed up at her parents home. She came up from McAlester, Okla. by her self, leaving her 3 children (Doug, Jeff, and Stepanie) at home. She said she had errands to run and she asked me to go with her. I agreed and we left around 10am. While driving into Tulsa she asked me if I still wanted to get married, I told her sure. She said lets go to the Court House. We made application for a marriage License, went to Get our blood tests and from there back to the court house by 2pm. From there we went to a wedding chapel on East 15th Street. We were married by 3:30pm. I was living at the Saratoga Motel (E. 11th & Hwy 169) at the time. We lived there with the 3 kids (Doug,Jeff & Strphanie) in the same one room 2 full months until we bought the house at 11528 E. 28th St.

Margie Marie Maddox, 58 departed this life Wednesday, July 28, 1999, born March 31, 1941 at Tiawah, Okla. The daughter
of Jeffie C. and Fannie Elizabeth (Cox) Harvey.
She is survived by her Husband Harold J. Maddox of the home; father, Jeffie C. Harvey, of Prattville, Okla; two sisters,
Jessie Read and Merylene Pruitt of Broken Arrow and brother Jimmie Harvey of Broken Arrow; three children, Raymond D.
Brown, Jr. of Jenks; Jeffery D. Brown of Sapulpa; Stephanie S. Farley of Tulsa. Four step children, Sandra Berg, Arkansas City, Ks.; Michael Maddox of Wichita, Ks.; Scott Maddox of Talala, Ok and Karyn Britton, Broken Arrow. 18 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements by Ninde Funeral Home, Tulsa, Ok. Services Monday at 10am, Sandusky Avenue Christian Church,
Eleventh and Sandusky, Tulsa,Ok.
Burial at Woodlawn cemetery Claremore, Ok.
